About Us

Fill Your Own started when our family decided to take another step towards greener living and start using reusable water bottles. When we looked on the market, everything was lacking in some way - coatings, uninspiring designs, hard to use or hard to hold. We felt a gap existed in the market for a well designed, health focused, stylish bottle - if it met more people's needs, they would use the bottles more often and reduce their waste (and use of plastic water bottles).

So - we launched our own water bottles designed with our family in mind - 18/8 grade stainless steel, wide mouths for ice cubes but slim profiles so they're easy to hold and carry, different caps including a straw to start kids off green and stylish, unique designs by Canadian artists that would make the bottles fun to carry around everywhere.

We also wanted to make sustainable living achievable for everyone - going green should be easy and we made it easy by offsetting the making of the materials, the manufacturing process and end-to-end shipping with Gold Standard carbon credits. Our bottles are carbon neutral allowing everyone to start with a zero carbon footprint.

With the success of the bottles in the market we then decided to expand into other reusable items - first shopping totes and lunch bags, and soon a complete waste-free lunch kit with bottle, bag and stainless steel food containers. In keeping to being sustainable, all of our products are carbon neutral. We've been thrilled by how much people love our products, the letters from parents and how we're helping to make it easier for families to take steps towards healthy, greener everyday living.
